The West Fargo Public Library offers an E-card designed to provide access to the library’s online resources. E-cards are available to residents of West Fargo and the West Fargo school district, West Fargo property owners, employees of the West Fargo School District, and employees of the City of West Fargo.
With the E-card you have access to...
- Digital Books & Media: Download or stream eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, music, & movies
- Databases: Access online genealogy resources, consumer information, scholarly journals, & encyclopedias
- Online Learning: Sign up for an online class, learn a new language, or get homework help from a live tutor
- In-Library Computers: Use the public desktop computers in the library
E-cardholders are permitted to check out only the library’s digital material. E-cardholders are not permitted to check out printed books, periodicals, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, or technology equipment from the library. Full-access library cardholders, in addition to the privileges of E-cardholders, are allowed to check out items from the library’s physical collections and request items through interlibrary loan.
E-cardholders who wish to obtain a full-access library card must visit the library in person and present photo ID and proof of current address. You may have only one type of West Fargo Public Library card at a time.
E-cards expire every 2 years and may be renewed over the phone or in person at the library.
Children and teens are invited to obtain their own E-cards. A parent or legal guardian must submit the online application for children under 14.
